Q1: What technology does Hieha 3D printer use?
A1: Hieha 3D printer use FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) print technology.
The printer will heat up and melt the plastic filament, push it out from nozzle to make a solid object layer by layer.This is a rapid prototyping technology with low lost, and It's the most suitable molding technology for wide use currently.
Q2: How do we determine whether a printer is based on FDM or not ?
A2: It depens on if the printer uses extrusion process.Like Hieha Printrite’s desktop 3D printer, they melt the filament and exturde it out.
Q3:Do all your3D printers based on FDM?
A3:No ,Our 3D printer are not allbased on FDM. There are different technology(EB,DMLS,EBM etc..).FDM technology is the common use in many field, such as industrial, enthusiast , clothing, medical, education, house hold use, etc.
Q4:Does the printer support offline printing?
A4:Yes,It supports offline printing by using a SD card.
Q5:How long does it take to print an object?
A5:It depends on the object size and resolution level. The higher resolution level, the quicker printing speed. The printer is configured with different print setting option: Best, Standard, draft. After you select the printing setting to slice,the repeater software will show the needed time.
Q6: Does the printer support offline printing?
A6: Yes,It supports offline printing by using SD card.
Q7:Can Hieha printer print more than one color per object?
A7:Currently Hieha printer just print one color as one nozzle. But it can print more color in different layer by “Pause”and “Resume”function to replace filament.
Q8:What operation system Repetier-Host can run?
A8:Windows 7, Mac OS, Linux.
Q9:What file format the printer can print?
A9:The printer can read STL, GCO file.
